I have open work permit valid till September 2020. I got my wife's work visa in march 2019 as a dependent. Her passport has a work visa stamp valid till 2029.
Due to some family issue she has not yet come to canada and she is not gonna come for indefinite time.
So I applied for my permanent residency stating in my application that my wife is not gonna accompany me to canada. I got in the pool. And I submitted my application to be processed.
I want to know will there be any problems if and when my wife wants to come to canada.
Will she be issued a work permit at the airport if I already got my approval by then? Because her work visa was filed as my dependent based on my work permit. And my work permit will be cancelled when my permanent residency is approved.
I would really appreciate any help/suggestions/advice.
