I applied on Sept 11 at Bangalore CIC for my wife.
No reply yet. Medicals and passport submitted upfront.

Yes there is no particular answer for this question.But If you have submitted all the required documents you may have chances of approval.ravikant02 said:

Principle applicant Documents
1.Proof of marriage
2.ties to india(notarized property documets on applicants name)
3.good Bank balance to support you travel(bank statements)
4.Employment letter if applicant is working(optional)
Sponsor Documents
If sponsor is working
1.Letter of employment with job duties, pay and time of employment
2.Pay slips (more than 3months) .
3.bank statements with bank balance.
4.residence proof.
5.work-permit should valid for more than 6months
If sponsor is student
1.Enrollment letter from college
2.Bank balance to support both.
3.Bank statements
4.Score cards if the sponsor has completed a semester
5.5.study-permit should valid for more than 6months
If you have submitted these documents with your application you may have chances of approval.But its not always
One of my friend has applied to Delhi office its almost more than 3 months for him still no reply

I know a person who applied on sept 4 at Bangalore embassy and got his confirmation email today. Yours should come soon too. Please post when you get it!
I have applied for my wife on Sept 11. We applied at Chennai VFS. But, she got a msg on her mobile after applying, that the application has been sent to New Delhi. However, online tracking status shows it is being processed at Bangalore. I m confused!

I applied for my husband on June 26th through vfs Chandigarh. No reply till date. Sent case specific enquiry too but no response.
