Hi,

While creating express entry profile, the form asks for spouse work experience related data. As I understand, there are no points for spouse's work experience outside Canada. So, if I fill these details in the profile before ITA, do I need to produce documentary proofs in the post ITA profile.

I gathered from this site that people declare spouse work experience under personal history and not work history in the POST ITA profile. Can I still do this, if I declare spouse work experience details in the PRE ITA profile. Or should I mention NO under work experience details PRE ITA. Will this be construed as misrepresentation of facts?

I suggest if you mentioned spouse work experience, provide proofs as well. This is just to avoid any confusion during processing by an officer.

I haven't submitted my profile yet.. I plan to do it soon.. that is why I am trying to clarify.
If you mention your spouse work history in personal section, then no need of reference letters.

Yes, I got that... But, this is with regards to POST ITA form filling. But for the PRE ITA form, there is no section for personal history and hence my confusion. If I update details in this form, would I be able to move it under personal history POST ITA?

Or will I get this option PRE ITA also, just before I submit my application

You will get personal history section post ITA. If your spouse's work experience is not in Canada, then there is no problem.

Thanks for the quick revert. So, in the PRE ITA form, should I declare my spouse's work experience or should I not? If I declare it, can i still move it to personal history in the post ITA form. If I don't declare, will it be construed as misinformation?

You can not, since for spouse you can only mention Canadian experience.

Hi ,

I want to know one thing...!! All of my jobs are in category B, except my first job which was a NOC C job. Can i mention that NOC C job in my EE profile along with other NOC B jobs. Somebody says that only O, A and B jobs should be entered in Work history and not NOC C. How do i go about it. I'm the primary applicant.

Hi!
1.In my checklist for PR I have to prove my spouse's work experience (all jobs mentioned). It says 'required' to upload the documents. But why? I don't get any points for this. As far as I know I have to prove only mine.
2.And there's nowhere to upload my IELTS certificate!
Thanks in advance for answering!

Hello, I’m in a similar situation while filling my details post-ITA regarding spouse work experience. How did you resolve this issue pls?
