Hi, I recently received ITA for PR to Canada... But I am facing a problem... While creating the CIC profile I had included my Spouse's work experience (all outside Canada). Now the problem is that his ex-companies are refusing to issue him a employer reference letter... We have all his joining, leaving, & salary documents....

What shall I do??? Can I remove his work experience completely (as I am the Primary Sponsor)???

Also, will a letter issued from his Manager (on company letter head) suffice as employer ref letter.....

He just joined a new job (1 week back).... and we are not sure to how to ask for a ref letter from his latest employer....

i know we are messed up.... Please help!!

is there any point difference if you remove the work experience? If not, its fine

Can he show atleast 3 or minimum one year exp documents? 3 is enough to claim points.

If above 2 is not happening -

Have offer letter, revealing letter, letter from manager and submit with an explanation letter. This should help i assume.

If you are not claiming any points for her work experience, you may put it in personal history only and explain the situation in LOE.

First if you add your spouse qualified work experience and his language test result before ITA, you may get extra CRS points for it.
Second after ITA, there are two sections in your profile: work experience and personal history; work experience section's information will be used to get CRS points and personal history section will not be evaluated to gain CRS points. This means if you can't get reference letter for your spouse, you have to move his work experience to his personal history.
And last I believe a letter issued from his Manager(direct supervisor) (on company letter head) is sufficient for your application.
