While creating EE profile I had added my spouse's India work history. After the ITA do, I need to submit reference letter for my spouse's work experience? Should I delete it from Work History section and add it in Personal History? Can I remove the experience after ITA? Please advice what is to be done in this situation.

Do you claim points for her work experience?? If so, you have to submit her reference letters... If not, you don't have to mention it in her Work History section but only in Personal History.

I was in the same situation (I didn't claim points for her experience) and so I only put it in Personal History and have my PR already with no trouble...

the primary applicant and she has 4 years plus experience and we have her employment letter. Her work experience details have been added in Personal History. I am the dependent and have 7 years experience however, my experience is not Canadian experience so there are no points for dependents work experience. If I remove my experience from work history will it affect the score?

So I can remove the experience it will not have problems rite? My wife is the primary applicant and we have relevant letters from her employers. This should not change anything in the application rite?

Hmmm not sure then, if she's actually the primary applicant...

I checked in CRS tool there are points only if the dependent has Canadian experience. If I remove my work experience then I should be fine rite as its Indian work experience.

if your spouse experience is counted for score you need reference letter else you can put in work history but no need of reference letter just show in your Letter of explanation that the work is not counted for score .that would be enough i did the same

Hi Anford,

Did you say "NO" to "Does your spouse have work experience" section while creating your EE profile?
Please suggest. Is there any harm if i say YES and upload her ref letters cz she has them. I am the primary applicant
Thanks

As he already stated he only included his spouses' work experience in the personal history section, by doing this no proof of employment is required.

You are free to upload her ref letter but they are completely irrelevant and add no value to your application. Simply put, it is a waste of time doing so.

Thanks for the explanation again DelPiero. Much appreciated. I have a position (current) which have the same NOC as my primary but I dont want to ask my employer for letters. Shall I also put this in my personal history post ITA? The position is based in a different country than my home country, im concerned claiming this position would only help me prove my legal residence in this country.
Or am I over thinking?

In case I dont claim it and put it only in personal history, would I have to provide a LOE why I didnt claim points for it?

Thanks

You are over thinking. You can certainly mention such work experience only in the personal history.

There's no need for a LOE but if you decide to provide one simply state the difficulty of obtaining a reference letter and that you did not need this experience to claim X years of work experience or to help your eligibility.
