Hi. Wanted to check if it's necessary to mention my spouse work experience in CIC profile. She does have over 9 years of experience and 8 months in Canada. However since we are not getting any points in EE profile, do we still mention it?

If yes, then can we mention only the recent one, under which she went to Canada?

Else got to arrange for her experience letters too from all the employers.

If you're not claiming points for that, you can choose to omit it.
Ok thanks. I am assuming it won't be construed as misrepresentation if I remove her work-ex.

Misrepresentation is linked closely with non disclosure. For instance, not disclosing one's marital status or parental status is clearly misrepresentation because that has a material impact on either the current application (in terms of eligibility and/or CRS score) or future impact of these actions.

But this is not always the case - like in yours. If you're ineligible and/or not claiming any points for spousal work experience, it does not amount to misrepresentation. This is true for your personal work experience as well - if there are job(s) that add no value to your application in terms of eligibility and/or CRS score, you can safely leave them out of Work history section while disclosing them in Personal history section to account for those time periods. You can do something similar in this case for your spouse.

Hope that helps. All the best!

Just thinking... you would have to select 'No' for 'Does XXX have a work history?' which is incorrect.
