Spouse work experience pre-ITA

As of today I have NOT yet received an ITA. I know I have asked this before but I want to be double sure. Can the experts here in the forum please confirm that it is safe to remove the spouse's work experience (all of it outside Canada) from the work experience section in the Express Entry profile? This means I would leave my spouse's work experience BLANK! Because I don't receive points for spouse's foreign work experience.

I am about to do this now but wanted to have confirmation again. Also to not have any misrepresentation. I have strong hopes for an ITA next Wednesday!

I am thinking to do the same. But if I leave it, does it mean we will have to upload his employer's letters as proof since we did not claim points for it? I think not. (Edit: YES I WOULD HAVE TO SO BETTER REMOVE IT)

I have same question as well! I am the spouse but my work experience cannot gain any points so we are think if it is fine to remove all experience before receiving ITA.

Ok, remove unimportant spouse experience to avoid complications. And my other question about ECA.. It is not obligatory to do one for spouse right?

Since you're not claiming points for it you can also remove it from the education history and add it in the personal history.

Sorry for being a bit thick about this topic. Can you confirm that it is safe to leave the work history/experience section of the spouse empty in the EE profile BEFORE you receive any ITA (all non-canada work experience)?
I see that many ppl are mixing it up with the placeholders you have post-ITA.

"Key Learnings along my Journey :

Medicals : Please do not wait till the end.

Spouse Work Experience : Please remove it before ITA if you have not claimed points. As this will cause lot of confusion and heart burn. You can also remove it post ITA and mention the same in LOE. I have personally spoken to people who have done this and got their PR under EE."

Pre-ITA
You can opt to answer Yes or No for spouse work experience (foreign). Even if you mention it in your profile, you can move it to Personal History post-ITA.

Post-ITA

Thank you so much! +1 for you. And also +1 for DelPiero07! This topic has burned my mind! I hope they will fix this somewhen so that it is clear you only need to list something if it is Canadian work experience!

So I can select "No" for the question whether the spouse has any work history if not claiming any points for it?

Simply removing is maybe not good enough. You would need to select "no" when asked if spouse has any work history. When selecting yes and leaving work history blank it says form is not complete if you make the check.
