I would like to discuss my case and please reply if anyone can help me . I am a canadian citizen and got married in india recently and my wife is an indian citizen . Right now i am living with my wife in india. Now i have to go back to canada and all my family are going to australia to visit my brother family and they are coming back in may 2019. My in laws family are also in australia . So there is no one with her in india after i go back . Should i apply for the tourist visa because i want her to go with me to canada . Please reply . You can apply for her PR under the Family Class (spouse) even if you are in India. But, this is if you intend to move back to Canada permanently soon.

Chances of her getting a TRV are generally slim unless she can prove that both of you have exceptionally strong reasons to return to India
