spouse visa

Hi I am currently living in India. my wife And daughter got the pr this month for Ontario and after landing next month, PR card will be issued in 45 days and then I will apply for spouse visa so that one of us can work and other one can take care of the kid as my daughter is currently one year old only. so i would like to know from this forum that

first - how much time it will take to get the spouse visa and what is the procedure for apply the same?

Second- is it compulsory that my wife have to work there first and then only I can apply for spouse visa?

Third- after applying for spouse visa can I get temperory work permit till the time my file is in process?

1st There is no spouse visa in Canada..

2nd Sorry but how can your wife and daughter can get PR? Sponsored by someone or else?

3rd no spouse visa here but once you apply PR, after 4months u will get work open permit (you have to apply work open permit along with your permanent residence application)

For the third point.
Only inland spousal application can apply for a work permit. And only if you are already in Canada, you can apply via inland.

Since you are in India, you will need to apply for visitor visa (regular visitor visa, not spouse visa). The chance of getting it approved with your wife and kid already in Canada isn't very high. You will need to prove strong tie to India.

How did your wife and daughter get their PR visa? Did your wife declare you as non-accompanying (and you had your medical done)?
