I have completed my Ph.d degree from India and currently working as Post Doctoral Fellow in Montreal University since November 2011. I am from India. I have canadian closed work permit visa issued on August 2011 and valid till March 2014. When I arrived here, my marital status was single. But recently in the month of April 2013, I am getting married in India. My fiance is living in India. He has completed post graduation in Business and Administration. He intend to come with me and stay till i am working here. After that we will return back to India. During our stay he wants to work here on temporary basis.
Currently he do not have any JOB offer letter from canada. However, he wish to come here with Canadian Open Work Permit which enable him to work here till March 2014.
As per my knowledge, spouse of temporary worker are eligible to have OPEN Work Permit before entering Canada and are allowed to work till the temporary worker valid stay in the CANADA.
I am eager to know the authentic information regarding filing of visa for my groom to be.
What kind of visa should he apply which allow him to work here till my stay? Where can I download those application forms? What are the important documents needs to be submitted with the application. What will be the maximum duration for grant of Visa for him.
Kindly guide me for the further and suggest me the suitable options.
