I will do my masters degree in Canada (Student Permit) and my wife will come with me.
I made a log in and I am applying for the eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) in CIC website.
So far I have answered a questionnaire and have tried to fill up the forms, so a few questions came up.
QUESTIONS 1 and 2 ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT ONES. If someone could help me with those two, would be great.
Thanks

1- My wife's travelling purpose - Questionnarie.
She is coming with me, so we may be together as a family, but on the options for this question there is no such option (there is no "partner" or "companion" option). So I chose the reason "Open Work Permit".
Is this correct? Because she will try to work there.

2-After answering everything the website has given me the documents and forms to fill up and attach
For her (Spouse) there is a document named "Purpose of Travel – Other"
What is this? Should she write a "Letter of Intent" and attach?

3- We are Brazilians, but we currently live in Australia for over 6 months. it seems that we do not need to do a Medical Exam. Is this correct?
Australia, in the designated country or territory list, does not require a medical exam.

4- There is just one Optional Document, the "Schedule 1- Temporary Resident Visa outside Canada – IMM 5257". This form bacaly shows the countries that you have already travelled before. Even been optional, I filled up the forms.
The website eTA website did not ask me to fill up the form of Temporary Resident Visa.
When I get into the border should I apply or ask for that?
