Spouse unable to do landing - please advice

Hey guys,

I am in a weird situation where I have completed my landing formalities recently and my wife will NOT be able to do the landing before the expiry of her copr. Unfortunately there is no way she can travel before the expiry of her copr. I do understand that she will have to go through the entire process again and we are already prepared for that.

What I am more worried about is whether there is anything specific we need to do if we do not land before the copr expires? Should we inform the CIC or get the visa on the passport canceled and return the expired copr to CIC? Please advice.

No - there is nothing specific you need to do.

Plus of course never any guarantee that will be approved in the future so thats always the risk to keep in mind
