Spouse travelling on visitor TRV visa to india

Hi,

when my wife came to Canada she was on visitor permit and i applied for her open work permit because i was on PGWP now she has a open WP but on her passport she still has visitor TRV can she travel to india and come back on visitor TRV or do i have apply her worker TRV? i know she doesn't new TRV when travelling to USA but i am not sure about India. i try to contact CIC but no luck.

As long as visitor visa is valid she can come back to Canada, just make sure its multiple entry

1. It depends if her present TRV (visitor visa) is Multiple entry and is still valid. If it is, then she can return to Canada from India
2. If not she will have to apply for a new TRV, With a work permit, she can apply in Canada.
