I recently got married a month ago and am planning to sponsor my wife from Pakistan. I have a unique situation and would appreciate any help from those who may have experienced something similar in there case.
On my Pakistani passport and PR Card, my name is Rizwan Ayub with a date of birth of 30th April. However, on my marriage certificate, my name is Rizwan Ayub Bhatti with a date of birth of 23rd April which is based on my CNIC.so basically date of birth and name on CNIC, marriage certificate doesn’t match with my PR card and Pakistani passport.
My question is, has anyone experienced or dealt with a similar scenario while sponsoring their spouse the dates doesnt match? If so, what steps did you take? Did you submit an affidavit along with application or go through a formal name change process on both passport and PR card ? Changing the name on my PR Card is currently taking 80 days.
Any insights on this would be greatly appreciated.
