1. The wife is a Canadian citizen. Previously lived in Quebec and now she lives in BC. She will return her tax from BC this year. Does it mean she will be a resident of BC not Quebec?

2. To sponsor her husband can she apply from Quebec? Or she has to apply from BC?

3. A baby has born in Quebec before they moved to BC. The baby receives Quebec government's child premium/benefits. Once the wife files tax from BC will it affect the baby's premiums from Quebec?

4. The wife used to work. Now she is a housewife. And she wants to sponsor her husband, will her unemployment status hinder the sponsorhip process? Her husband is a PhD. student (international student) and has continuous income. He bears the expenses of the family, would this help in his sponsorship application by his wife?

Throw your thoughts please.
Thanks.

She is a resident of BC, not Quebec.

When applying for sponsorship, she applies from her address in BC because this is where she lives.

When she no longer lives in Quebec, she probably will not be getting child benefits from Quebec anymore. She may qualify for something in BC instead.

The sponsorship will not be refused for a spouse because of lack of income as long as the wife is not on social assistance.
