Hii Guys:
I've a temorary visa and I've been living in Canada for eight months .
Please I've some questions about family sponsorship,I want you to answer them before the Canadaian woman that I love applys for spouse-sponsorship .
My questions are ;
- Does the canadian citizen woman need to have a minimum income requirements to sponsor a spouse when both of them live in Canada and he (the spouse)is over 18 year old man?What If the woman has an income less than the required during the last year but she had that before the last year?
- As I know I have to have a prove that I know my partner at least a year ago. What If I have no prove that I'm in relation with her for a year becasue our relation started since I came to Canada?
I'll be so gratiful for you if you answered my questions clearly
with my best regards

First of all, to apply under family class (spouse) you have to be married, or lived together for 12 months. You must provide evidence such as statements for joint bank accounts, credit card statements, life insurance policies etc. Simply knowing each other for 1 year is not enough.

There are no minimum income requirements for spouse sponsorship.

I believe the sponsor will not be approved if they are on income assistance. Otherwise there are no income requirements for spousal sponsorship.

no you don't need that to have the income ,is not a big deal if you unemployent and to sponsor your husband (spouse),all you need to do is to file out all the documents and clearly complete them and send them to the service imigration in missisaugua..Good luck to everyone.
