Hi, my spouse and I are applying spouse sponsorship. We have a very very trick issue here.
Background:
Problem:
Background:
- I have PR and I am sponsoring my spouse (PA)
- In our country, spouse and parent's names are listed on the national ID card and household registration transcript
- We are using national ID card and the household registration transcript to prove our relationship and cohabitation
- Both her national ID card and our household registration transcript is listed with her mother's NEW name, but the birth certificate is with the original name
Problem:
- One of the essential documents is principal applicant's birth certificate. Her estranged mother's name was changed maybe 20 years ago. So her mother's name on birth certificate is different from the name on other government documents such as my spouse's national ID or our household registration transcript.
- To provide all these documents (birth certificate, national ID card with translation and household registration transcript), IRCC will see a discrepancy on her mother's name. And my spouse is NOT close to her mother and has no contact with her now, what can we do to prove her mother is the same person, and everything is authentic?
