Spouse sponsorship: non-accompanying children

I need help.
I was under the impression that when someone sponsors a spouse who have children, the children will not need their medical renewed ( in case medicals expire) if they are accompanying the sponsored spouse to Canada. Am i wrong? Please help.

Dear Sweetmine,

You must re new the medical for them if they will come or (even not) to Canada with the sponsored spouse .... But that if they asked the sponsored to renew his medical when its expire!! .
