i dont think you have to send option C. you can send employment letter (pay stuff as well if possible) and note of assessment ....they dont really care about income in spouse income .....

you can be unemployed and broke and even apply for spouse sponsorship .... :P

Since you just came back to Canada, what were you doing before that? If you were working abroad, do you have a tax return for the most recently completed tax year in that country? If so, submit that return and a cover letter explaining you are sending proof of your earnings abroad instead of the Option C because you just returned to Canada.

If you have proof of savings or investments, send that instead. As always, you must explain why you are not submitting the Option C and try to submit one of the alternatives. For example, they said you can send a letter from your employer, so if you have a job now, send a copy of your contract.

ok thanks alot..i just been married last january, then i came back same month. but i allready miss my wifey thats why i plan to go back to my wife's country same month too, i stay there for about a 4 months thats why i dindn't able so submitt my income tax on time.. so what should i put on my letter then? sorry guys lots of question, because i really dont know what to do... :(

You need to show you can support your wife and fulfill your responsibilities as a sponsor, and that she is capable of becoming self-sufficient.

1) If you were working and filing taxes abroad, send a copy of your foreign tax return.
2) If you live off savings or investments, send a copy of your statements.
3) If you rely on family, get letters from them detailing how your expenses will be covered (where will you live? where do you plan to work?)
4) If your wife works or has a trade certificate, English/French skills, show proof of that.
5) Are you job-hunting? Outline your plans for supporting yourselves until you have one.

Whatever you do, you have to provide some kind of plan to show CIC that although you don't have an income and are unable to produce an Option C, you have considered the necessities of life and how to provide them for yourself and the person you are sponsoring. If you don't provide anything for them to work with, you can be refused under Section A39 (financial inadmissibility).
