Spouse Sponsorship Help

Hello everyone,

There are a lot of good posts here just want to know a bit more detail regarding my situation.

I got married December 2017 in Pakistan and just last month(March) sent in my file for spouse sponsorship, knowing the processing time I am planning on going back this December and am wanting for my wife to come back with me for couple of months.
Wanted to know what is the best way to go about it and what things I should send them and when I should actually start the process.

My wife was enrolled in university (BSC) but in Canada there is no equivalent so she decided to stop that until she comes here and currently is doing a one year certification as a Lab Technician, so at the end of it she wont really have anything; in terms of having any link to a job or schooling, but she lives with her family who support her and I also send her money every month. What can we show that will establish ties to the country and her intent on going back. As I have heard this is really IMPORTANT.

I can show all the important things related to me as a Job, Taxes, Bank statements, pay stubs, references, Canadian passport. (Please let me know what else would be beneficial)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

Hi there, you know, the details you give are not very clear. If you could clarify some things we would be able to help you better:

I assume yiu got married in Pakistan and came back to Canada right ?
You said that you sent your application in March for PR, and then you talk about starting the process... that's for her visitor visa ? If so, she actually has to apply for her visa and you should include a letter of invitation for her to visit you. So, about the ties to her cou try, I guess it's related to the visitor visa, so you'll have to include whatever she has... living with her family is a tie and studying as well. If you are married i don't think she will be denied a visa.

The chance of your wife being granted a TRV are very low. She would have to show strong ties to her country like a steady job that she has been in for a long time, a travel history to countries that require visas like US, UK, Australia, etc, family ties which would link her to her home country like a child, enough savings to pay for her own travel and stay in Canada, etc. Given that her husband is in Canada and that you have applied for spousal sponsorship it will be assumed that she will stay in Canada if she is granted the trv. Unfortunately you will likely have to wait for spousal sponsorship.
