Spouse sponsorship from out side Canada (proof of relationship)

Hello all,

I'm a new member and I have a couple of questions and I appreciate your feedback very much. I'd like to sponsor my wife to come to Canada. On form IMM3911 section 5 (PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP TO SPONSOR), it is asked to provide letters between me and my wife. We mostly called each other and sent emails. I have a detailed list of our phone calls over the past 15 months. Our emails are in Persian/Farsi language. Do we need to have our emails translated to English? We have sent 260 emails to each other, how many emails do I need to get translated? Isn't the list of our daily phone calls sufficient proof of our daily contact or we have to provide our emails too?

I also wonder if I need to certify photocopy of my Canadian passport.

Let me tell you what I submit. I submit 90 emails which sent each other during our long-relationship for 6 months. We had more but picked up ones show that our relationship is genuine and continuing: to share emotional aspect (how much love/miss each other), to report what we did that day, or to coordinate when we can talk. We occasionally use a language other than English, that I translated into English by my self. The detailed list of phone call works as a proof too.

You do not need to certify the passport copy(unless it is in the country spesific guide that you do). You can translate the emails, I would send in the ones that show how you made choices together, planned for your future ect.. you do not need to send them all. Also, include a a letter saying you have more and can supply them should they need them. as for the phone logs, a wekk every other month or so is good. (IMO)

If you have visited her send the pages in your passport showing your visits/length of stay as well, not just the personal details page.
