Hello & Salam Brothers & Sisters,

My timeline is Aug 2012 <--papers sent to islamabad ...
Oct 2013 husband had to redo his police and medical ...
Emailed islamabad on November and they said they have received the Police and Medical ...and since then HAVE NOT heard anything

And is it true ... females come quicker then males !?!? & Is it also true if you go visit your spouse the processing time will take longer?


Anyone with similar profile??

i heard at criminal and background check step male duration is little more then female
but i dont think its true as i am feb 2012 applicant and received remed req in nov but ur husband being aug applicant received remed in oct

First of all thank you so much for starting this thread.

Husband or Wife case doesn't really matter to CHC I believe it depends on the visa officer who's computer our file is taking up space in.

As for your 2nd question no time does not increase it actually decreases because your confirming that it's a genuine marriage. If you get married and 2 years have passed and you've never visited your spouse this may cause officer to question or even put file in interview queue.

This is my opinion based on the many members posts I've read.
