Spouse sponsership biometrics ?

i really need help!

I applied to sponser my husband on oct 1st 2018. The application package I had didn’t say he needed biometrics. Or mentioned anything about it. Upon reading the Canada website you need to send biometrics (he is from Europe). Now my question is I haven’t even received my aor yet. I did pay my sponsership fee . Can I send in my biometrics and the fee now or was the fee included in the sponsership fee? Or should I wait till they send me an aor?

Find out if you need to give biometrics

After you submit your application, we’ll send you a letter that says you need to give your biometrics and where to go. You’ll have up to 30 days to go in person to an official biometrics collection service location.

They will send a request letter for the biometrics at a later point in the application process.

When they do this... send the letter for biometrics they will explain where I have to send the biometrics to? And can someone please explain to me step by step the spouse sponsership steps. Ex first is aor... then what?

But the question here, since the applicant did not pay for the biometrics in advance would cause any delay in the process ?
