Hi All,
I am from India and I have received an ITA and going to submit it next week.
Post which I will receive the e-AOR.
Now post this I plan to marry my beloved and get the legal document-marriage certificate.
My Queries are below:
1) If I get married after e-AOR, will my spouse need to change her martial status anywhere else like PCC or Passport
2) Are the documents she need to submit include only PCC, Marriage certificate, Medial and Proof of funds?
3) Do we also need to update our respective passports with martial status for document compliance?
4) How does this impact my current processing which is as a single applicant in terms of time to get PR?
5) Do I also need to get an updated passport after marriage and update spouse details on the passport?
6) I hear it is better to tag your spouse after e-AOR as this does not lead to recalculation of scores and saves a lot of time compared to a spouse visa?
7) Is it better to tag the spouse after e-AOR or get PR individually and tag her on a spouse visa later(we postpone marriage in this case)?
8) If I get married after e-AOR and we get a marriage certificate, what are the other documents we need to update as part of our status from single to married from PR prospective?
Your expertise and guidance will be of great help.
Regards
