Hi - I have a confusion on whether or not i need to submit my wife's PCC : here are the details :

1. I am applying in PNP category in express entry (OINP nomination received and ITA received on 2nd Oct).
2. I put martial status as "Married" in both OOPNP and EE profile.
3. I said "NO" for Include your spouse application both in OOPNP and EE profile. (applying just for me alone)
4. My wife is here in Canada and she is on visitor visa and currently in implied status (for work permit).

On medical i am sure that we need to provide medical for both me and my wife, I am just confused on PCC (from india) ??? Anyone in similar situation ??
any information with regards to this will be appreciated....

Thanks

Yes, you need to submit both a medical & PCC for your wife, even if she is listed as non-accompanying.

Your personalized checklist will prompt you for PCC(s) for your spouse from all countries where they have spent more than 6 months in a row since turning 18 - the same requirement will hold true for you as well.

Both of you wouldn't need RCMP certificate - CIC will advise you if and when that is required.

Thanks both of you for the reply ... yest i completed the form and my personalised checklist says PCC for wife .... i will have to arrange this now ...

I have another question :
Till now i worked in two companies comp A for 4.5 years (Location : India, US, and India) and Comp B for 5 years (India and Canada) - In my work history i have mentioned separately for all the 5 locations according to the timeframe i worked for ....now in my checklist it is asking reference letter for all 5 and have 5 option to upload 5 letters .... I have 1 reference letter for company A and 1 for comp B ...should i upload same letter in all the applicable section ???

Please guide ....

In your Work history section, add as many line items as NOCs in each of your organizations. If you've worked in the same NOC throughout 9.5 years, have just 2 line items in there - one for each organization. You can and should provide these location details in Personal history section. This will ensure that you'll be asked to,upload only 2 reference letters.

Asivad,

But when we are entering the work exp , it is asking to mention the country , so if we work for same employer in two countries , how we can differentiate in work exp section ?

Ofcourse we can put in personal history section for each country . But specifying one line in work history , wont it be considered as some misrepresentation or like that ?

The only time country of experience matters in Work history is if it is Canada as that distinguishes foreign work experience from Canadian experience.

If the NOC remains the same, there is no real reason to add a line item purely for a change of country (other than Canada, that is) in Work history. It adds zero value to the application and is anyways captured in Personal history section. This is NOT misrepresentation.
