spouse owp and passport expired

Hi, i hawe spouse owp. my passport expire in july 2016 so they give me owp only until then. Hy husband wp is valid until sept 2017. so i must apply for new owp when i get new passport. can i work when i am waiting new owp?

You can renew passport and apply new work permit afterward. You will grant of work permit valid as well as your spouse which mean Sep 2017.
