Hello Friends,
I am confused right now.
Right now, I am in Canada, and I have a Canadian PR, at this moment, my son is with me; he is on a visitor visa. He is a minor and arrived in Canada one week ago.
My husband is in India right now.
I want to apply for PR for my husband and my son.
Can I apply for both in one application?
Or
I have to submit 2 separate applications in the PR portal because my husband is an outland applicant and my son is an inland applicant.

It would be invaluable if someone could help me with this issue.

Thanks a lot in advance to everyone in this good community.

You can apply outland as a single application with the son as a dependent (of your spouse). You can just write a short letter of explanation that the son is in Canada and will remain in Canada.

About the only small complication - manageable - will be that they will do the virtual in-country procedure for son AFTER your spouse lands and becomes a PR.

All this said: you can also do them separately if you wish. I don't think there's any particular advantage to doing so, except for avoiding that small complication above, and possibly your son will get PR status a bit more quickly. (If that is important to you)

If yoyu do it this way, I'd suggest including a letter from spouse that he will be joining in Canada under separate app and he is in agreement that son should apply /bcome a PR. (This is basically just to avoid questiosn about custody and permission)

Your previous posts indicate you were an international student 6 months ago did you get PR after that? Depending on the province your child may not qualify for provincial healthcare.

What happened to your daughter?
How did you get "a Canadian PR" when you were a international student in June?

You stated in the following post that you had applied for your PR prior to Nov 22, 2018:

"...Recently I submitted my PR application through my cic account, ...

...Will it be a problem as this PCC is issued with my permanent address instead of my present address? My husband's situation is the same as well."

Why did you not include your spouse and son (if he was already born) at that time?

There is no inland process for dependent children. You submit one application outland.
