Spouse or common-law partner in Canada class issues

Hi everyone,

I submitted my spouse inland application Aug 2010 to Vegreville, AB office. In May 2011 we received a letter advising us that the file has been transferred to Vancouver office for further assessment. Canada Immigration center may contact us for an interview or to seek additional information or clarification.

It is now March 2012, we have not heard anything from them…We know some people who have similar situation they have been approved for the first stage even though they filled their application 5 months after ours…

When I got in touch with my MP I she was told that Immigration centre in Etobicoke will call us for an interview by Nov 2012…

Any idea as to why is it taking them so long? Anyone had a similar experience? Please post.

we received the same letter as your this June and we make our application in August 2011 and still waiting for Vancouver to contact us on the next stage

My file have been transfered to CIC ETOB on 08 Feb 2013, but they never sent a letter to inform us. Since then no word from ETOB. CIC Call agents tells me every week (i am calling once a week) "Your file is under ongoing investigation"

I applied Sep 2011 and still no AIP, nothing...
