Spouse open workpermit and child study permit

They are processed as separate applications and it is normal for the decisions on each to come separately.
Hi , I am also in same situation :
For my spouse open workpermit biometric given in Oct 7TH 2022 , but till now there was no update.
But my child visa got approved in 30 days.
Any comments on this ??
Where does spouse live because processing can take a long time? Check IRCC processing times for an estimate.
Raise a webform and ask. Or if you are his representative on his application then call IRCC. When does your WP expire? Assume you are in a skilled job and provided payslips and employment letter.
hello, I don't know if we have the same situation but I applied for SOWP based on my spouse's WP (we applied together at the same time and did biometrics together on October 18 in Turkey - processing time 19 weeks). Since he is the main applicant he got his permit within 2 months. I am still waiting for my open work permit and I raised a web form but no answer
You are within normal processing times as your permits do not have to be assessed at the same time. No sense in sending webform until processing time has passed.
