Hello Everyone,

I am going to apply for Spouse Open work permit after two visitor visa refusals.

First Refusal reason: Applied on Feb 2020
• A dependent spouse is eligible to apply for an open work permit if the principal foreign worker -holds a work permit that is valid for a period of at least 6 months

Second Refusal reason: Reapplied on Mar 2020
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

The main reason for previous refusals is My spouse doesn't have a valid work permit for a minimum of 6 months.

Current Status:

1. My spouse got 2 years of work permit extension in June 2020 and he has CAD19000 bank balance in Canada.
2. I have 1,50,000 lakh (CAD2700) in Indian account.
3. For home country tie: My mother and sister are dependent on me and showing my mother's property which is valued, CAD30,000, and got attested.
4. Home country: Experience letter from employers, Resume.
5. Spouse docs: offer letter, payslip 3 months, T4 for 1year, workpermit, deputation letter

Could you suggest what other docs I need to submit other than this?

You can add a letter of explanation to address the issues about ties to Canada and finances directly, in light of your previous refusals. It's best not to assume they will infer anything as decisions are made quickly. You need to spell it out for them as to why you will be able to support yourself and that you will leave Canada when you have to.
