Im new to this forum.. and I'm seeking for an answer and some advise about my concern with regards to the spouse open work permit...
my husband is a korean and currently working as an assistant manager in one of the store in edmonton for almost 2 years now... we tried to applied for a TWP last year... i have my LMO and contract of my employer... unfortunately i got denied... for such reason that I have no more reason to return to the Philippines after being admitted to Canada,.. which is very indefinite reason. since we have a 4 years old kid to be left here... anyway... moving forward... after 6 months.. we try to apply again for a visitor visa... but we got denied again... this time... we are trying to apply for an open work permit for spouse... since we just got married early this year... The question is... what is this open work permit all about... like i understand the whole concept of it. but the question is, do i need to get a visitor visa in order for me to have this permit.? since i read on some blog that i need to have an entry visa 1st for me to have this OWP in immigration in canada... please help... thanks in advance..
