Spouse Open Work Permit Help

I applied for my and spouse CEC application for PR on September 05, 2014,

1. I want to now apply for Spouse Open Work Permit, can you please help me with the list of documents and steps on how to apply. Which forms do I need to fill out (spouse is in India- application will be done from India)...

Since you already sent in your application for PR, it might be difficult to get her WP since she in not in Canada. One pre-requisite of granting a work permit is that the applicant has to show that she will leave Canada after the WP expires.

You can't apply for her SOWP as she is not in Canada . her application for SOWP will get refused

I have NOC B field job which falls under NOC code 2283...So what are the chances of spouse getting open work permit.
What reason should I provide that she will go back.?? any suggestions

yes you can apply SOWP (Spouse open work permit)

checklist for your Spouse

IMM1295E-Passport photo (digital), in accordance with their specification-IMM5645E (my family details) -attaching this form to this email -Marriage documents: Marriage certificate, Photographs: Attach a few photos of different occasions in marriage to substantiate your marriage.

-Medical Exam (My wife did upfront medicals) My suggestion would be to do upfront medicals

Checklist from your end

Canadian work permit-employer's letter supporting salary, tenure and current address, Last 6months Pay slips -bank account statement
Masters certificate or college certificate -your passport copies --If you got married recently send a copy of flight tickets for the marriage trip
