SPOUSE OPEN WORK PERMIT APPLIED FROM CHANDIGARH

My wife applied for spouse open work permit on Feb 24th, 2016. However, till date (13/06/2016) she has not received any update on her application.

She got her Medical done at MAX Hospital, Chandigarh. We contacted Canada immigration office through "DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca" email address. She received a response that her application is at Consulate General of Canada in Chandigarh and provided another email address "CHADG-G@international.gc.ca" to contact for status update. We sent many email to this address but no response.

We also tried creating case specific inquiry, and filed ATI (Access to Information) to expedite the processing but no response yet.

I am concerned why there is so much delay in her application. What should we do to get her a visa? Shall I write an application to withdraw her application and apply for visitor visa. Please suggest.

I have also applied on 13 feb without medicals and my file is processing at chandigarh visa office.I have not received any response till date.I am worried for my application.If you get any update please let me know.

I also apply in December 2015 still didn't get any response I email them but no reply it's almost 7 months I don't know what's going on in Chandigarh
