Spouse open work permit application

I have submitted the required documents including biometrics at vfs Office Chennai on 28/ 05/ 2019 for spouse open work permit ( on paper). When I checked the application status it is said that the application has been been received on 30/05/2019 and under process at IRCC Office , Bangalore.But I didn't get a medical request yet.How can I know about detailed status of processing?

First of all, link your paper application to gckey for check your status.
When embassy want to grant you visa before they send you medical request.
As your case, you applied in end of May, its too early now. Embassy is taking time now wait at least one month more.
