Hi,

For a TRV, the applicant must prove that s/he has good reasons to return home + strong ties to the country of residence.

What documents did your husband submit?
How did he explain/provide proofs of his earnings in cash?

Cheers

His 6 months paystub by the employer showing paid amount in cash
His employer contract paper
NOC for 2 weeks
bank statement for 2 months.
My convocation is in October last week. Thinking of applying again.
They have mentioned rejection reason as ties with country of residence. How can we show ties with Dubai.
How much amount we should show together or in separate bank amounts

Hi,

A few more questions based on your reply:
a. For how long is his employment contract valid?

b. Does he deposit his cash earnings in a bank account?

c. Ties to country of residence viz. Dubai: Other family members/lease agreement for accommodation/financial investments, etc: What did your husband submit for this?

d. Does your husband own property or land/financial investments/family in his home country ie India?

e. Has he traveled abroad to other countries?

It is a permanent job. no contract date

b. Does he deposit his cash earnings in a bank account?
Not every month..
He has opened his bank account in the month of july. before that ever

c. Ties to country of residence viz. Dubai: Other family members/lease agreement for accommodation/financial investments, etc: What did your husband submit for this?
No our family is in US.
Nothing in terms to ties to country of residence.

Hi,

Permanent job (not on contract): Excellent.... hope the documents he submitted state the same.... because this is one reason for the refusal.

b. Does he deposit his cash earnings in a bank account?
Not every month..
He has opened his bank account in the month of july. before that ever
This is another reason for the refusal.... as he opened a bank account only in July, he was unable to prove he has adequate finances for his visit. Also, he should submit at least 6 months of bank statements.

Was any of the money in his bank account borrowed for the visa purpose?

Does he file Income Tax Returns? Any financial investments?

Nothing in terms to ties to country of residence.
If you say he does not have ties to his country of residence..... then how will the visa officer believe that your husband will return to Dubai after his visit? :)

Cheers :)

The TRV document checklist for India specifies 6 months of bank statements + Income Tax Returns for the last 2 years.

As your husband is paid cash + no strong financial situation/investment, he should wait until he can submit relevant evidence (at least 6 months bank statements, with monthly deposits that match his cash earnings.... ideally, he should request his employer to deposit his salary directly in his bank account + ITRs, etc).... before he reapplies.

He must also explain that none of the money was *borrowed* from his cousin and prove it is his earnings.

When he reapplies, he must show reasons to return to Dubai (his permanent employment + lease agreement with deposit forfeiture clause (if any).... and prove he has the finances to support his visit

While your invitation letter can state that you will provide financial support for your husband's travel and living expenses, his personal financial situation is rather weak.... hence, the visa officer may be inclined to believe that he will overstay his visit.

IMO your husband should not reapply until his financial situation improves (backed by 6 months banks statements, etc) + he should be able to prove strong reasons to return to Dubai
