Spouse not coming to canada

Hii frds,

I’ve got the ITA in which I am the principal applicant amd my wife is dependent and my file is under process at CIC. Thing I need to know is that whether it is ok if my wife does not come to canada with me? She has got some work that need to be completed which would take more than three years. Plz help

She will have to complete her landing formality within 1 year of her medical exam. After that point she will have 3 years to return for permanent stay or her PR will lost. One has to live in Canada for 2 years in any 5 year period in order to keep the PR.
