Hi everyone,
I wanted to know if the spouse already has an existing PR application (as a principal applicant) in process with CIC as a Quebec nominee, what effect would a new PR application made by the applicant (who is listed as the spouse on the Quebec application), who is a Saskatchewan provincial nominee, have on these applications? Anyone seen a case like this or similar where the couple is nominated by different provinces? The spouse and the applicant are applying for divorce but since it's not yet finalized, they haven't informed CIC.
Also, if the spouse is not accompanying on the PR application, does the applicant need to pay the processing fee for both him or herself and the spouse as well?
Thanks in advance!
