hi guys. Need your help with something. I met a girl on line. I live in Canada and she india. We have been talking for 6 months everyday on phone and txt thru out the day.

After 2 months of dating we found out our parents know each other from 20 yrs ago and they were neighbours.

i was planning on going to see her for 2 weeks and then plan wedding 2 months after that.
As of today i have only spoken with her but never met her.

Both of our parents have said they will attend the wedding. My parents even said that if they can not make it then they will write a letter and have it notarized that they approve the relationship and our wedding.

this is our 2nd wedding.

if we wait and talk for 7 months and go there and see her for a week and then get married will that be ok or should i go see her first and then get marries 2 months later.

pls advise

It's a bad idea to get married the first time you meet. CIC tends to examine these applications much more closely and they have a higher rate of refusals. You should visit each other once, return home, and then get married the second time you visit each other.
