My husband and I will both take our IELTS tests for English. My husband will be the main applicant and I, the spouse, will also need to provide language tests. I know they added extra points if you also take French tests. My question is: if I, the spouse, take both English and French tests, and my husband only takes English tests, will that get us more points? Or do you get more points only if the main applicant, my husband, has taken the French tests?
The tool that calculates your points only asks the main applicant for French test, and they only ask the spouse for one language test, so I was wondering if it was worth it for me to get a French language test (besides the English one). Does anybody know?
