spouse is also a relative, help?

I knew my spouse since birth, since we were relatives. It's just we immigrated to different countries as kids and our families just kept in touch over phone. When we grew up, we became close friends and decided to marry each other.

So two questions:
1) how do i describe my first meeting

2) our marriage was love then we told our parents and they "arranged" it. How do we describe it in our application

I just checked to make sure your marriage is legal in Canada If you are cousins that's acceptable in the law of marriage in Canada .I would myself most likely write that you were close are children both families were connected etc, then each family moved but kept in Touch . Then explain how you moved forward to the point of marriage.

Yes, I imagine you guys are cousins. Marriage with cousins is very common in Pakistan. It might get difficult trying to answer the questions on the forms, especially when it comes to first contact etc. given that you guys knew each other as kids. You will need to write a detailed essay explaining the situation and also explaining when you guys fell in love with each other etc.
