Spouse in Canada with visitor visa, how to apply for SOWP

I am holding a PGWP and applied CEC in Oct 2014. My wife is now visiting with visitor visa. I want to apply for a SOWP for her so she can stay the same duration as I have. Topics here regarding my situation are most outland applications. Just wondering if everything is the same for applying inland? Do you know what's the processing time if applying online? Does she have to do a medical exam in this case if everything goes well?

Hi Ray,

You can check online on cic if your spouse is eligible to work.
As far as I know, she is eligible for an open work permit.
You can apply that online filling the application IMM5710E , work permit inside canada.
You can upload alll documents as in medical and other supporting documents online and submit it.
You have an option to do it via paper as well but I dont recommend you that as there are issues with canada post now and it might take little more time.
