Hello I need help as I am confused and pregnant. Currently on a post graduate work permit in Canada, spouse applied for PR through FSW 5years ago. And now he was charged with misrepresentation with his work history and given a ban for 5years. And I am yet to get my PR my work permit expires in feb 2019 and I am due oct 10th. Am confused on what to do everyone Is telling me to have a divorce or else I won’t get my PR. Pls advise me on what to do. And would this ban affect my partner if he needs to go and study in another country. Thank u

If your spouse has been banned for 5 years then you are also banned for 5 years since you are married which means that you will not get your PR.
Yes lying about his work history and his 5 year ban could affect his visa approvals for other countries.
Not only would you have to divorce but you would also have to end the relationship between you completely. Otherwise, you will just be common-law partners instead. You would have to lead completely separate lives. I assume that this is not a problem for you, if you are putting your immigration status before your marriage.
Yes - you would need to get divorced. You may also have to prove to IRCC that you are really no longer in a relationship with your husband and haven't simply divorced him as a way of getting PR status.
Given you are pregnant, it may be quite difficult to convince IRCC that is the case.
As others have said, if you go down the divorce route, you'll never be able to sponsor him in the future - even if you get remarried.
OP's PR application will be refused under the present circumstances as she is a family member of an inadmissible person.
She would need to tell us when he was banned for any further advice
