Dear all, urgent help needed. I did not show any education against my wife in my express entry profile. After receiving the ita , while filling the pr application, I have no choice but to include my wife education in the personal history section. Now should I do this by either

1. Writing a letter of explanation saying that since my points remain the same in my express entry profile (without my wife education )and the pr profile without wes, I should be allowed to apply
2. Reject the ita and update my express entry profile with my wife education without wes and total points will remain the same . And hope that I receive another ita at 462 points

I am confused since I thought that without wes one should and cannot enter the wife education. But during filling of pr application I found out that this has to be done . Please help and advice

Getting an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) in Pakistan is a very lengthy and difficult process and from the very beginning I had decided not to claim educational points of the spouse. For this very reason, I did not disclose any educational details of my wife while filling out the express entry profile. At that time I was under the (false) impression that if one does not have an ECA then the relevant educational details are to left out of the express entry profile. I was under the (false) impression that for Canadian immigration purposes, an individual is considered uneducated without an ECA. I was afraid of getting points for my spouse education without an ECA if I entered the educational details of my wife in my express entry profile. Therefore, in order to achieve the purpose of getting “ZERO” points for my spouse education in my express entry profile due to lack of an ECA, I decided not to input the educational details of my wife in the express entry profile. . Before getting an ITA, my original plan was to write a letter of explanation to IRCC stating my wife’s educational details separately on a piece of paper (scanned and attach with PR application) if ITA was received because at that time I did not know how to declare the education details online and still receive “ZERO” points for it.

However, after receiving the invitation to apply (ITA), and completing the more detailed online Permanent Residence (PR) application, I found out the method of getting “ZERO” points for my spouse education and still declare the educational details in both the “education” and “personal history” section of the online PR application. Therefore I have correctly declared all the correct educational details of my wife in the PR application which I erroneously omitted in the express entry profile. I have correctly marked “NO” when asked for an ECA while inputting the details of the particular degree.

No need to even write a LOE, you're not claiming points for her education so the right approach is to add it in the personal history section.
