Spouse education needs ECA Certificate??

Hi everyone.

For Spouse education, there are 10 points against it in CRS Score.

How do I get this point? Should I apply Educational Credential Assessment Certificate for her too ??

Please help.

If you want points for your spouse education she has to get her ECA as well. Same thing with language. You could get up to 20 points in your CRS score for your spouse language ability.

In my case, my wife did both, ECA and IELTS.

Hmm IELTS is mandatory for securing points. It gives 20 points.

But ECA is expensive and will give only 10 extra points. So skeptical about going ahead.

Its expensive, that is true, but you have to make efforts to get the higher score you could get. At least in my case, with no canadian experience and no PNP or job offer even 1 or 2 points could make a difference. There is a guy in this forum with a score of 352. In the last draw the score was 353... yes...he was short by 1 point...

I think, he has mistakenly typed as 352/353 instead of 452/453..

that is correct... i meant he had 452 and last draw was 453.

sorry i meant last draw was 453 and the guy had 452, therefore he missed ITA by one point.
