Spouse ECA by assessment

Dear all,
I am trying for express entry and my consultant was saying that it is difficult to get express entry since am 37yrs old despite my 12+ years of experience. Is it so?
If my spouse ( she did engineering diploma 3yrs from Kerala state technical Education board) do ECA , can it help me with some more points?
Is there anyone who got express entry at the age of 37 and without any canada experience?

You can see if the calculator will add points for a diploma but it won’t be much unless she has a masters and is under 30. She has to include her IELTS scores too. At 37, it is difficult.

It's difficult at this age, try study route or try for Australia PR.

Hi What is your application status ?? Being in same age, as an applicant we have applied to Sask/Prince Ed/ and waiting for PNP i got some additional point since my wife is a law grad and that gave us addition few points. We are still waiting. What I have understood is if your wife is much younger then user name as a principle applicant. Answering your question yes it will help with 3 points. Hope this may help.
