Dear friends,
Once again I am taking the courage to apply for EE. Need to retake IELTS. Going to claim points as spouse blood relative (her sister) has PR in canada. Problem is Spouse and blood relative have a date of birth born problem (3 months apart) and nobody noticed this. It has continued like it for years on all their documents until now. In the past I have made EE profile and applied for PNP (even have biometrics of my spouse) with the wrong DOB. Now I wish to correct this as we plan on using the blood relative's sister for adaptability points. This is a huge challenge of paperwork to fix. ID cards need change, passports, correct WES for documents. Is there an easier way around it or do I have to swallow the bitter pill?
Back then (and in our region) parents didn't care much for DOB but as we know now its an important information to have. So far I have managed to get her correct DOB certificate and change it on her matriculation doc. But i'll need to fix it on her ID card, Passport, Visa (we live in DK), local DK ID cards, and marriage certificate. Who knows where else. How best to explain this conundrum to CIC even after date change? Easier would be to attach a letter to CIC and say hey, this is a mistake we are living with it, please overlook it. But since we are going to be claiming adaptability points, I want to make it right. I also dont want spouse's sister to be in trouble as she is near passport stage for her PR. Your feedback is welcome.
