Spouse application for Open Work permit with PR application

Hi,
I'm a husband of a permanent resident (we got married abroad 8 months ago). I hold a visitor visa that expires in two months' time. My wife has been working for 4 months.

I'm about to make a PR application and with it an open work permit application. Would I still have 'implied status' when my visitor status expires? (I have already renewed the visitor visa once)

Yes, an OWP app submitted along with the inland PR app will give you Implied Status.
