Hi All,

My entire family got the copr in Jan 2015, however my wife and my kids were not able to land due to some unforseen circumstances. However i went ahead and did a short landing in Canada took my PR Card.

I am now making a permanent landing in April 2018 and once i get the job would like to apply for PR of my spouse and kids. I have done some research from CIC website and sense that it will be under family class sponsorship. The plan as of now is to land in Canada, get a job and then apply for the PR visa for my family.

Is there a way where family can get the visa quickly and also please let me know what is the time frame by which the family gets the visa and then they become PR

What is the date you actually landed in Canada? Your previous posts give several dates different than this one.

How much time did you spend in Canada when you did your landing? Just an assumption, but it looks like you are short of residency obligation if you land in Canada permenently in April. There would be a risk (if you are short of days) that you will be reported for RO and the process started to revoke your PR status. If you manage to get in without being reported, you will not be able (or at least you shouldn’t) apply to sponsor your family, as it will bring your residency obligation under scrutiny again. You would need to wait until you are in compliance again 730 days) before you attempt sponsorship.

As for a visa, because you are a PR, they can be difficult for spouses and family to obtain. Again, until you are in compliance, I would avoid any interaction with IRCC until you meet RO.
