Spouse’s work history

In post ITA form, I dont want to claim my spouse’s work history. Should I give Unemployed or Homemaker? What is the difference?
From different forums I see ppl putting in personal history. But there are asking for following questions like
1. What was the person doing
2. Provide name of the company ets.
What answer should I provide?
