I have a PGWP in canada and i am working in the same field as my bachelors and study i did here in canada. I got married last month. I would like to apply for a spouse Work Permit since my work permit expires in August this year. My spouse is PR in canada. How can i apply? When trying to apply online and answering the questionnaire it drags me to a visitor visa application. Or should i directly apply for permanent residency since that will also give me right to work, stay and continue my job in canada. I need to go out of country in November. I do not have my marriage certificate yet. What is best option for me to apply for work permit extension or apply for PR directly?
